Our events and programming go beyond the expected, to generate discussion and to draw connections between ideas and opportunities. At the same time, we contribute to the wider cultural discussion through participation in key cultural events and platforms across the region.
We hosted the inaugural International Conference on Bharatanatyam in December 2014 and have supported the event since, while members of NUS Ilsa Tari established Titian Naluri and the Gerak Symposium in Feb 2023, events that brought together prominent luminaries of the art form with multiple generations of dancers. These platforms employ dance and creativity as a medium to discuss wide ranging social, cultural and historic topics.
