For educators

The arts and higher education have shared goals of building knowledge and nurturing an inquiring spirit.

Our programmes and partnerships with organisations in Singapore and beyond have been developed to promote research, learning and appreciation of the arts; to encourage multidisciplinary collaboration based on existing and emerging cultural interests within the NUS community of students, staff and alumni.

Draw from the student talents

In recent years, our professionally tutored student performing groups have developed projects with the Department of Mathematics, Centre for Quantum Technologies, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and more.

Through these collaborations, students are exposed to new ideas that are distinct from their chosen majors, while faculty collaborators have seen their work reinterpreted and communicated in new ways and to a new audience.

If you have a project in mind, explore our groups and view their catalogue of productions and achievements.

Collaborate with artists

The merging of ideas and sharing of skills through collaboration can reveal new insights for further study and help you see the familiar in unusual and inspiring ways.

CFA has deep connections in the arts community and our programming regularly brings professional performers and visual artists to campus to work with faculty and share in the creative process.

Whether it’s an NUS Arts Festival or EMCC production, an exhibition or a project in NUS Museum’s award-winning prep-room, we are always open to new proposals and can work with you to find the right partnership.

Share your research

With numerous platforms and a commitment to open, respectful discussion, academic partners are welcome to propose their research to us as potential material for collaboration.

We delight in facilitating timely, relevant and unusual information sharing through masterclasses and panel discussions or other formats that may suit your premise.
